You will be involved with all facets of the HR function including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
  • Supporting Managers with advice and tools for recruiting skilled, high quality staff.
  • Ensuring the company complies with the various employment legislative requirements.
  • Contributing to the development of effective performance management policies and procedures.
  • Providing administrative support to the busy HR function.
  • Confident to prepare disciplinary letters and assist with investigations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong generalist HR background (2-4 years) gained from within either an HR Advisor, HR Administrator or similar role and have experience dealing successfully with internal and external stakeholders across a variety of levels. You will need to manage your own workload as our HR Manager is often out of the office.

Payroll knowledge or previous experience would be advantageous to the team.

MDL Civil and Engineering Limited is a privately owned company that is operating in Auckland. We primarily are involved in Land Development taking Greenfields through to build ready and are currently seeking experienced Civil Construction Workers. We own and run the latest equipment. Roles are based in Westgate at our new project.

Requirements

With the season in full swing we have the following vacancies available:

  • GPS Digger Operator – Attention to detail and a safe work ethic are top priorities. Top rate for the right candidate.
  • Excavator operators – Must have experience in final trim/ Sediment and erosion control / trenching for utilities. GPS an additional advantage.
  • Bulldozer/ADT operators
  • Compactor Operator

We are also looking for Class 4 & 5 Truck and Trailer drivers – see separate advert for Truck and Trailer Drivers.
